Guillermo Vega is Chief Creative Officer of Ogilvy North America, based in New York, where he also runs the Ogilvy New York office, overseeing creative leadership, culture and output across the agency. His main clients include Coca-Cola, Dove, Verizon, Audi and Mastercard, among many others. He also holds a senior global creative leadership role within WPP’s OpenX network for The Coca-Cola Company, helping shape integrated creative work across markets and partner agencies.
Guillermo previously served as Chief Creative Officer of Saatchi and Saatchi London, where he oversaw creative output across clients including British Telecom, EE, The British Heart Foundation, DT and Operation Black Vote.
Before that, he was Executive Creative Director at 72andSunny New York, where he helped establish and grow the office, leading work for brands such as Smirnoff, Samsung, Xfinity, Seventh Generation, Yoplait and Cheerios.
Earlier in his career, Guillermo was Executive Creative Director at Wieden and Kennedy São Paulo, where he helped found the office and scale it from three employees to more than one hundred in four years, winning clients including Nike, Coca-Cola, Levi’s and Heineken.
He began his career at Young and Rubicam, where he spent more than thirteen years rising to Regional Creative Director and overseeing Latin America from the New York headquarters, working across global and regional brands.
Guillermo has won numerous national and international awards and has served as a jury member at major advertising festivals including Cannes Lions, D and AD, Clios, AICP, Art Directors Club, London International Awards, FIAP, New York Festivals, El Ojo de Iberoamérica and El Sol.
